The 3-bedroom, 2-bath retreat offers a stylish interior with striking views of the water, making it the perfect home for families and friends escaping to the Washington coast together. Venture off to Snee-Oosh Beach – located a short walk away – for a leisurely stroll, just in time for sunset!
What to Expect
Tucked away among towering trees and lush green foliage, ‘The Nest’ welcomes you with the enchanting ambiance you might expect to find in Puget Sound, perfect for a restorative getaway with your loved ones!
Outside you can expect 180-degree Puget Sound views, a covered porch with bistro lighting, an electric grill, and patio seating.
This three bedroom, 11 bed home is perfect for a family reunion or friends gathering. There is one queen bedroom on the main floor, two queen bedrooms on the lower floor, and the attic space has five twin beds. There is also a pull out couch in the den on the main floor.
Bathrooms are located on the main floor and the lower floor.
The attic has slanted low ceilings so care must be taken. The lower floor has low ceilings also.
There are 5 flat-screen TVs, a Roku with Netflix & Hulu, and a DVD player.
Additionally, you’ll find interior Puget Sound views, wall-to-wall french doors, an electric fireplace, modern furnishings, board games, and an elegant dining room with waterfront views.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has stainless steel appliances, a drip coffee maker, and a large fridge.
There are 2 parking spaces (2 vehicles) and a carport (1 vehicle, max height of 6′-4″).
Where to Go
While the Nest is beachfront, the beach is a short walk from the home. Out the front door and down the road a couple of houses is a path to the beach that is shared with our neighbors.
The Nest is a ten minute drive from downtown La Conner. La Conner is a charming, historic town which boasts three museums, a plethora of culinary spots, wine tastings, boutique shops, art galleries, and strolling along the waterfront. There is plenty to keep you busy.
And not to be missed is Anacortes, which is about 20 minutes away by car. It has more than 150 murals, eateries, hikes, and whale watching opportunities and is the gateway to the San Juan Islands.
In the spring the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is a must see, but throughout the year there are many festivals and markets nearby to delight the most discerning.
