Our stay at Jackie’s place was lovely. Great home with a beautiful water view. The sunset was gorgeous. It was nice to be in a secluded and quiet neighborhood for a couple nights. The drive back to town was not bad at all.

Our family enjoyed a delightful weeklong stay at Heron's Nest. The addition of the treehouse space made the week extra special for our teenagers. The hot tub setting is as serene and picturesque as the pictures. Overall incredible attention to detail and amenities galore!

What a view! This updated 1950 rancher sits atop the sloping hill with a 170 degree view of the houses below, the water and the beach as well as miles of Whitby Island coastline. We even had views of the Olympic mountains. The hot tub was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked and beyond lacking an outdoor table and a fire poker, we had everything we needed. Thanks for your care and attention Jackie- we loved our stay.

We had a wonderful stay in Birch Bay! The home was cozy, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect with just a short walk to the bay, beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the house that made it feel like a home away from home. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly from start to finish. The Blue Heron townhouse was perfect for our weekend getaway, we had all of our needs met and we loved how quiet and peaceful the location turned out to be. We would love to visit again.

With a million dollar view- and such a unique spot for relaxation and rejuvenation, this space will belong remembered as one of our favorites. It’s the place we’ll return to when we need to get away from it all! The sunsets were amazing as promised by the place name. More unexpected was the glorious view of the moon “setting” in the early morning and shimmering on the waters of the strait. I got in the hot tub to stay warm and keep the jets off to hear the birdsong, while watching wispy clouds roll past the moon as the sun rose in the sky, eventually bringing shades of pink and blue. A magical morning to say the least!

We absolutely loved our stay here and are already dreaming of the next time we can come back. Big highlight: the incredible cedar tub that I could just spend hours in taking in the gorgeous view and enjoying the perfect temperature water. This place is such a haven! The birds, the trees, the wonderful covered patio - everything was 10/10 and we will absolutely be back!

We had a lovely stay at the Blue Heron! We came with the intentions of relaxing and getting away for the weekend and we got so much more. The place was exactly as described, but included some extra lovely details as well. Beach access is right across the street and we were lucky to see the most beautiful sunset. We would definitely come back. Jackie was very helpful and accommodating. Thankful for a memorable stay. I miss my daily walks by the bay already.

We came here to celebrate our 15 year anniversary along with some friends and we had such a great time! Lots of room for the kids to play. The house was well stocked with everything you need! House was clean and beautifully decorated. Would definitely return!

This is a very beautiful vacation rental. The sunsets are phenomenal and the house is stocked with all the necessities. there's plenty of bedding and towels. There is plenty of spices which was great for cooking meals. It was so well furnished you really only needed to bring clothes and food.

A beautiful view of water and sunset. Great deck, easy to walk across the street to Sunset Beach. Cozy to watch movies and read books. Kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to cook and bake. Perfect for a secluded getaway. Charming 5 minute ferry ride to the island, one small store if you need anything. We bought groceries in Bellingham, and had a wonderful time!

This property is absolutely exquisite! The view is amazing, the surroundings are beautiful and it has to be the most well-stocked airbnb we’ve stayed at. It had everything we needed and more. Jackie was incredibly proactive, responsive and friendly. We definitely plan to stay again, this place is a true gem!

This place is amazing! Jackie took wonderful care of us, before and during our stay. When we didn’t have an ironing board, they had it delivered that afternoon. The house was immaculately clean, and the kitchen was very well appointed. We really appreciated the welcome bowl of goodies, and the space was super comfortable- plenty of room to hang out together in the evenings, and space to spread out when we needed it. I’ve had some real duds, and this one gave me a new breath of life with airbnbs. They really went above and beyond!

Beautiful place on Lummi Island, quiet, comfortable and well stocked. Jackie is a great communicator and was great about checking in with us. Double check ferry schedule to ensure you get the most out of your stay. And definitely, go to Sunset Beach to experience the most intense sunset.

The view is incredible from this home! Even the foggy day was delightful as you watch the fog lift. We enjoyed lots of hiking and the hot tub after a long day out. The house is a well-maintained mid century home nicely decorated with some high end amenities. We're planning on coming again!

This was a very special airbnb home to always remember. This home is a sanctuary nestled in woods and on water with beautiful sights out windows. Beds were very comfortable, hot tub was perfect at dusk, and everything was in good working condition. Area is dark without streetlights after sundown and emus live nearby. Mid century modern home original elements were charming. We hope to book again!

You need to stay here! Jackie’s place was immaculate. Close to downtown and shops. Views were stunning, and it was incredibly peaceful. Jackie was very proactive with instructions and made us feel right at home. We would have loved to stay there longer!

This is a very special place--serene, comfortable, and beautiful. The beds were comfy, the kitchen well appointed, and the outside space was perfect. The deck, the outdoor shower, the hot tub, the privacy! We loved it!

This place is awesome! It's HUGE and there's plenty of room to spread out. Having a completely fenced backyard for our dogs is crucial! Some places advertise a fenced backyard, and there will be a fence around a portion, but not something you can carefree let your dogs go out. When they need to. The downstairs has a movie theater and fooseball, which were great for the kids. We'll 100% be back to this place!

Very clean, easy to communicate with property manager. Cute place! We would definitely stay again! They even had a 4 pack of seasonal local beer in the fridge which was complimentary.

The place was very well kitted and Jackie left cute basket of snacks for us. It was a very cozy stay which ended in a fantastic ski day.

We had 8 people stay during Christmas and absolutely enjoyed the home. It was very clean and well equipped. Plenty of dishes and equipment to cook holiday dinner. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the hosts went above and beyond to treat us with little welcome gifts. I would absolutely stay again. One of the nicest rentals we’ve done.

House is beautiful, clean and spacious with 4 bedrooms and a pullout couch. It was perfect for our whole family when we visited for WWU graduation. Kitchen is well-stocked and the primary bathroom has a lovely soaking tub. This is one of the nicest VRBO properties we have rented!

My mom and I made a last minute decision to have a little getaway and go visit my daughter that lives nearby. We wanted to be close to the water so we could relax and enjoy the view. The house was easy to find and we felt right at home when we first walked in. The house felt so warm and cozy. I could live here. Everyone in the area was friendly. I took my dog on several walks, she loved it here, too. The area is so beautiful! We hope to be back soon!

My daughter and I did a short last minute trip and had an amazing time. The views from the living room/kitchen and every bedroom are spectacular. The place looked even better in person than in the photos. So many little details and surprises added throughout the house, from chocolates by the bed, s’more supplies and some other things (won’t spoil all the surprises). They even had a Fussball table and there is table tennis in the garage. We loved the proximity to the beach. The neighborhood is very cute and everyone we met was super nice. My favorite place was the recliner by the fireplace overlooking the water. Sitting there watching the calm sunrise was just what my heart needed after the busy holiday season. Highly recommend this place.

Jackie was an amazing host! She was available when we got there, and responded immediately. This house is incredible, my partner and I truly had the most magical weekend. The sunsets are painting worthy, and watching them from the hot tub is a bucket list experience. The rooms are also very spacious and bright, it’s a great space to spend a lot of time in. Lummi Island is a dream and we will most definitely be back.

What a terrific home! This was easily one of the best equipped, and most well cared for homes I’ve rented. The views were great, the hot tub most welcome, and the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms fully stocked. Jackie was responsive, and a delight to deal with as a host. We couldn’t have had a better stay!

Fun little getaway.

Impeccable house with amazing views. The house is large enough to host 10 people and the amenities that were provided are amazing. There was something to do for all age groups including home theater , mini golf , board games , legos etc. We had two toddlers who absolutely loved running in the backyard that was fully fenced. Jackie who managed the property was very responsive And accommodating of our needs. We would love to visit back in summer.

We had an absolutely incredible stay!! The home was beautiful, lots of personal touches all throughout the home. The setting was STUNNING!! We could have sat all day on the deck with coffee taking in the beautiful view. We brought our own paddle boards and spent some wonderful afternoons enjoying the lake. The kitchen had lots of helpful labels so we knew where all the dishes and flatware went. We made some amazing meals and enjoyed our family’s company gathered together on the deck in the evenings. We could not have asked for a better long weekend with our loved ones.

We loved our time at bakers bliss. Beautifully furnished and everything so thoughtful. The attention to detail is incredible. Both for the adults and the kids. Everything feels so luxurious and the kitchen is even better kitted out than my home. The snow didnt arrive like we had hoped, but we still bad a wonderful time, and LOVED the hot tub. Its the kind of cabin you can go to all year around. we will be back!

Wow this place is absolutely GORGEOUS!! It was even better in person than in the pictures. Everything was clean and lovely. Communication was so helpful, especially when I had so many questions about getting to the island and preparing for our trip. An absolute Airbnb gem and we are already planning a return because it was so perfect!

Jackie was a great host. The response was quick and super helpful. The house has everything we need, and the stay was perfect. We really enjoyed the time on the island. Everyone is nice and waving at you! We even saw some whales from the house before we left!

Very refreshing being away from the city life. We got lost on the beauty of the beach and sunsets. The space was comfortable, communication from Jackie was spot on and very accommodating. The decor in the home brought the outside indoors. The view from the back deck and front were mesmerizing, you can just stare out in space and clear your mind. Doesn't matter if it was daylight or at night, just beautiful. I recommend experiencing the outdoor shower (water takes a bit to heat up) then head to the hot tub, perfect for relaxation.

We had a fantastic time. The location is incredible, with the lake on one side for swimming and the forest and water views on the other. The house was very comfortable, was well equipped and the host was extremely responsive. A great place to spend a few nights with our family!

Lummi Island is super fun, we found some good beaches and enjoyed fishing in the lake. The little play structure by the lake was great for the kids as well.

Quiet and secluded spot with an amazing view. Everything needed for a relaxing weekend packed efficiently into a tree package. Elegant and functional interior. Host was communicative and anticipated any needs.

We barely left the house because it really is the perfect location. The beach is across the street was great for launching our kayak or an evening stroll. We brought no food onto the island and found more groceries than expected at the store on the island. It’s expensive, but we were happy to support the local option and it was very convenient. Jackie was great at communicating with us. Definitely one of our favorite AirBnB experiences and we would love to have stayed longer!

Jackie is a wonderful host. The Blue Heron in Birch Bay was very clean and comfortable, with lots of perks. I appreciated that Jackie checked in with me several times during my stay and always responded to me when I reached out. I would definitely stay here again.

You won’t believe the view at this house… It is just breathtaking. The beach is literally right across the street. During our stay the street was not busy at all so that was very nice. We enjoyed watching the changing scenery throughout the day on the bay. LaConnor is just minutes away and we really enjoyed exploring that as well as surrounding areas, just a short drive to deception pass so that was a fun thing to do as well.

This is a fabulous location and Blaine is a lovely town. The property was charming. If you arrive after dark look closely by the front door for the house humber. The property manager was awesome. She was quick to respond and left a welcome basket and smores ingredients for the fire pit. There are no ceiling fans and we appreciated the fan in the master bedroom. The view is stunning! We loved that the cottage had a coffee grinder and maker, along with beans. It made morning so much better. The fire pit was perfect in the evenings. I'm so glad we found this Air BNB.

Worth it for the views alone! We are so glad we booked this location. While it doesn’t have direct beach access, the house sets on a hill and has incredible views. The backyard and deck area and is set in away where you feel completely secluded even though you are apart of a neighborhood. The house is walking distance or a VERY short drive if that’s preferred to a public beach access point. We spent a beautiful day on the beach and practically had the shoreline to ourselves all day. The hot tub is top notch, we loved eating breakfast and playing cards outside and the beds were super comfortable. Make sure you look for eagles with the binoculars! Will definitely be back or sharing with friends and family!

Our time on Lummi Island was so magical and this home was hugely responsible! Jackie was an amazing host whose thoughtful touches could be seen throughout. The kitchen was well appointed with a French press, nice cutlery, excellent condiments, and even a welcome basket with local snacks and drinks. As a bonus, there were nice binoculars provided that allowed us to enjoy the wildlife up close and personal. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the resident bald eagle fishing for his dinner in the evenings! The hot tub was amazing and the views from it are breath taking!

This is the cutest place I've ever stayed in!

The cabin was perfect for a girls weekend. The view and easy access to the beach don’t disappoint. Jackie was incredibly welcoming and made sure we enjoyed our stay.
